Andy's Small Engine Repair has been providing quality residential and commercial small engine repair services in the triangle since 2016. We service a wide variety of equipment including lawn mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, chainsaws, and many other types of small engine equipment. Big and small jobs, we do it all. We strive for excellence in everything we do, and we will make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your service.
As Durham's only Grasshopper® authorized dealer, we are proud to offer a premier selection of commercial zero turn mowers. And as a Shindaiwa® Authorized Servicing Dealer, we carry a vast selection of premium handheld equipment and provide warranty service for all products. In addition, we are certified to provide service for Briggs & Stratton®, Rehlko (formerly Kohler®), and Kawasaki® engines. (Please note that we do NOT service boats or boat engines, go karts, motor bikes, motor scooters, or motorcycles. There are no exceptions to this. In addition, we do NOT work on household appliances/electronics such as refrigerators, sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, etc.) |
We service electric equipmentWhile we mainly focus on gasoline powered lawn and garden equipment, we provide service for certain battery powered equipment as well, including riding mowers. We are a Greenworks authorized service center.

Basic service pricing:
Services with fixed pricing are listed below. Other services and repairs are priced on an hourly basis. Please contact us for more information.
Diagnostic Charge - $35
Tune Up - $60 + parts (includes an oil change for 4 cycle engines, replacement of all filters, spark plug replacement, carburetor adjustment if applicable, and a full mechanical inspection) No oil change - $40
Riding Mower Tune Up - $80 + parts (includes oil/filter change, replacement of all filters, spark plug replacement, steering/suspension lubrication, deck spindle lubrication, engine cooling fin cleaning, and a full mechanical inspection).
Oil change - $30 + oil filter (if applicable)
Blade sharpening - $10 per blade ($18 labor charge will apply for blade removal and installation on riding mowers unless a tune up is being completed)
Chain sharpening - $15 per chain
Gearbox/pump oil change - $36 per gearbox/pump
Hydrostatic transmission oil/filter change - $54 + fluid/filter per transmission (includes bleeding of air from the hydraulic system)
*Not including NC 7.5% sales tax.
A complimentary inspection is always performed to ensure that your equipment is in perfect mechanical condition.
